Post by: laser_jock99 on August 26, 2005, 22:58:08
...anyone going. The Range Rover Register are giving Joe Public the 4x4 rides (old hat us lot I'm sure) but still worth the ride.

Yep, I was there, giving those rides ...

All in the aid of charity, you know.

Didn't spot you there- went straight into a 2.5 blue diesel Range Rover and round the course with no less than four screaming brats in tow! Felt a bit sorry for our driver with all that racket in the back!

It's a good little course though- enjoy it every time round.

You get used to it after a while (earplugs optional) ...

As to the course, it's quite compact, but longer than most expect.  Not at all suitable for a typical L-R show though, as there's no space to recover vehicles safely when there's lots out on the course ...

The tally over the weekend was 3 half shafts (2 on the same car!!! ).
