Strange ... I've got a 235/85 x 16 on my door!? The tyre is very worn, but then, the bumper is also bent upwards and there's still 1/2" clearance :-k

if you look again ive got a steel back bumber too

you can get raised carriers too
jakes got one
-
Devon 4x4 make the D44 raised wheel carrier, nice and strong and give enough clearance for anything upto 35" tyre.
Or, you can have a look here (http://www.expeditionexchange.com/disco1spare255/) at what they have done to the standard carrier to raise it.
-
and do you have to cut the corners of the winch bumper to fit it as i think this might just tuch the frunt tyres ????
-
Picture of my D44 spare wheel carrier
:D
Just need to get a bigger tyre now!!
-

Cost me £75 at Billing.
Bumper looks great!
Have you got a side picture?
How far does it stick out?
:D
-
ill get one in a bit it sticks out a lot but looks good cant wate to run over my first car i think its going to be that alin car (ford ka) thing
-
here you go side on
-
From the side view i'd say that your tyres will be ok.
My arch cuts line up with the line of your bumper.
(see below picture)
Test it and find out!!
:D

Bumper's looking good, I don't think you'll have to trim the ends of the bumper, I only took about an inch off mine and that was for 33" tyres and wheelarch flares!!
With the number plate, I drilled a couple of holes and put it here:

yep thats a bearmach bumper
same as mine
i had to cut 2 inches off mine
maybe soon a little more
the approach angle on these bumpers are better that you would think by looking at it
looks good
