I had a problem with last Linkin Park CD bought. Couldn't get it in the cars player. Maybe coz it's only a tape player on mine.

On a semi serious note, a friend recently bought a copy of life for rent (alright, a work colleague, I do have some taste in friends)
Upon sticking it in a Windows machine it installs gawd knows how much DRM software, without warning I might hasten to add. It would seem that post install you're no longer able to use the CD drive without their software and who knows what else.
Now, I didn't do a great deal of research (VMWare, I hit the rollback button) but it's worth pointing out that some degree of caution is in order. Not to mention that any such CD is not a "CD" as Philips designed them, not sure where the trades descriptions act would stand on this one, but it is (IMO) not fit for purpose, it is also not as advertised (it's not a CD, it just looks like one)

I think if it says "Compact Disc Digital Audio" on the casing or on the disc, then it's being mis-sold if it's not a Philips-spec standard disc. I'm surprised the lawyers let them get away with no disclaimers.
