A bit quiet, not many public there, but on the whole it wasn't bad - I quite enjoyed Sunday because I found things to entertain myself.

However, I couldn't get:
- Magnecor HT leads
- NGK spark plugs
- New diff lock switch (bit of a long shot)
- Gaffer tape (really!)
- WD40 (no way!)

Shame the traders don't seem to bring the stuff I want!

See also discussion here (http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=10976) for further comments from people who went.

You mean you got right up to the 101 stand and the Camel stand and never came the extra 10 yards or so to come and say hello?

Bob696 and I were on the Series 3, 90 and 110 stand - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Except for when we went shopping...   can't wait for my new s/s sports exhaust to arrive tomorrow...

on this subject one small negative:- why o why was the only elsan disposal point, i could find, right in the middle of the showground :?:  :?:  :?:
bloody long walk and not the best way to meet people on a Saturday afternoon

Nice pics.

I enjoyed the show but loved the off-road.

Anyone one got any pics of the off-road course at Malvern?

Would love to see some so can show family what I got up to at weekend

I was after the vaccuum type fitted to 101s and some Rangies, but in the end I cleaned up the existing one with petrol.  Just thought whilst I was there if I could have got a vgc one for a fiver it would have been worth it!

My family and I had a good time at the show. The off-road coarse felt a little tame to be honest simply because the discovery is so capable, but fun nonetheless. The show itself was very quiet, even on the Saturday.  My parents bought me a steering guard from the rebel 4x4 stand as an early Christmas and Birthday present so I'm happy.  I thought the show would be bigger than the spring adventure at Driffield but it actually felt smaller (just wasn't as cold). Didn't see another mudclubber either  :(

Did anyone else wish they had one of those curved wooden ramps that BFGoodrich had Defender stood on? The perfect end to every trip, parking on one of those

Refitting is a reversal of the removal instructions.

The Disco alarm immobiliser (1993) has all black wires. It's a mare. I can un derstand them wanting to stop anyone from tampering but anyone with real knowledge of the system knows exactly where to go to bypass it.

The LRO offroad section, inplaces was good, verging on difficult. but that was in a series, no match for a current 90/110, just found most of it following a track between trees. the most exciting part of the track was near the end... the last 'extreme section' where on sunday so many people had elected to do the harder section, had eventually created a mud hole, which look amazing fun, going in and getting winched out. but when it came to our turn, a nissan nivara had got stuck blcoking the way for many other people, closing the section and forcing us to do the signifcantly easier route.

have to honestly say was a little disapointed with the offroad route, however it would have been impossible to cater for every ones ability and type of vehicle.

However Eastnor was great fun!

with reference to the LRO show at Malvern, I camped there for 2 nights and I must say that the camping conditions were a little cramped, about 6 inch's between tents.  The show itself seemed about half the size of a 'normal' show.  The off road course was ok, it gave my suspension and steering box a work out.  The Eastner course was better with more mud although neither were really challenging but then they must cater for all skill levels.  The LRO navigation challenge was fun it gave you the chance to see some of the Malvern countryside from very close up!!.    Overall not reallly impressed, but at least the weather was very good. :?

Hmm, I'd love to roll up to Royal Ascot Land Rover in the 101 and ask them to fix the carbs...  They'd spend the whole day trying to work out where to plug the computer in

I like the centre-steer replica, I wonder if it belongs to the Dutch(?) guy who was biulding one a few years ago, utilising Willys JEEP bits

i beleve it was parked with the Velar at the show
so me thinks who owns the Velar prob has something to to with the centre steer
also the centre steer was seen (by me ) wizzing around the show and the sat evening, nice to see it in use

Slightly late, but we really enjoyed the show this year, but agreed that it was a bit small. There didn't seem to be many trade stands and we know of at least one person that applied for a trade stand and wasn't allowed one as they had run out of space.
