tried to find some US web cams to see the storm in action but strangly all the new orleans cams seem to be out of order
Thats how I found that bubble cam

YE great pic saw the car on TV last night and thought how come, in America (including films),  when a 4x4 gets smashed up it always seems to be a land rover :cry:
does the american stuff  fall at the first hurdle :?:

Yup - if you study that pic close enough, you can just make out a Jeep to the far side of the Disco - it's just been pancaked even more than the Disco...  :)

(Ducks, grins and runs from all the Jeep owners on the site...)

Now the funny thing is, if it had been a 200 or 300 tdi, the bloke would have had to park it on the other side of the road where there's a slight down slope so when it rains the gutters don't leak onto the rear floor pan, causing it to rot. He would have missed all the falling brickwork :-)

If it was a 90/series you could probably turn the engine over(if you could get into the cab)and still drive it away
