Think it's about time I invested in one of these :D
So which one :?:
Looked in the Argos catologue this morning and as usual there are plenty to choose from. Price's range from £27.99 to £300.00. There are two main makes Karcher and JCB, so which one.
There is a guide as to what to look for when buying one e.g.
Litres per hour.
Bar Max.
Bar Rated.
Wattage.
Hose length.
Wheels.
I need one for mainly the Disco, but also our patio has gone a bit green over the winter so this needs cleaning. Don't want to buy one and the pressure is crap so what have others got and are you happy with it :?:
Can'nt or don't want to spend £200 + but willing to pay enough for a decent pressure washer.
Advice please :D

Might be of interest but Makro are supposed to be doing a petrol pressure washer for around the £100 mark.
I can't comment on how good or bad it'll be.
Me. I've got a Kew and swear by it but you gets what you pay for a lot of the time.

I've got a K'archer, it works fine for me. I had to replace the nozzle once as I inadvertantly run the trailer over it in the garage.
I think I paid about £80.00 from B&Q about 4years ago

Andy,
I've got a Karcher the big one,
10 mtr hose with it own onboard
detergent tank... Very pleased :D
Trouble with the cheaper one's is the
short lance hose, this means you have
to keep moving the pressure washer around..
-
I'd go for the Karcher.
Can you imagine saying to SWTSMBO "I'm going to have a go at this patio with the JCB.
I get the imression that JCB is about the standard of Power Devil stuff. PD stuff does the job but isn't up to doing it every day.
I may be w... wr..... wro........ wron....... (sorry can't say it) incorrect.

Dirtblaster (turbo) lance for 50% greater cleaning power than standard high pressure lance.
Full mobility and easy storage facility with unique barrel
Details and picture are taken from there website.

That was going to be my next thread, polishers.
How good are they :?:
They worth the money :?:
Still don't think you can beat a bit of elbow grease.
Oh and while I'm here what about hand held car vacuums :?: Yep you guessed it Dirt Devil do one at under £10 then you have a JCB one for £45.
Now there's a thought cleaning the motor with a JCB

My pressure washer was about £60 8 or 9 years ago. No idea of what make it is or spec.
To be honest I rarely use it on vehicles, I find that a hose pipe with nozzle on the end is just as effective and much easier to get under the wheel arches with. Pressure washers also have a nasty habit of finding holes in things and/or removing big flakes of paint :(
They are quite good at cleaning up paving though.

Arh har is that a new forum name I see there 'Inspector Gadget'
Ed your not a sufferer of QVC are you :?:
