Guess who is getting her first set of off-road tyres tomorrow? :D :D
Very excited and just in time for my trip to Cornwall this weekend for some laning :D
I know someone is bound to ask me what tyres they are but am afraid until they are fitted and I can write it down from the tyre I can't tell you
Nothing will stop me know :D 8)

I would say congratulations for the new tyres (whatever they are)....
But now you've tempted fate
Good luck!

I probably have, oh well :?
Have found out that I am getting BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres.
Please tell me these are fine as am very excited. I know they are not the ultimate off-road tyres but as I use the FLandy for all my day to day stuff as well they must be suitable for on-road as well.

They are no good I am afraid. Send them to me to save yourself the embarresment of having them  :D

I do hope that is sarcasm there otherwise I might cry :(
Thinking about it, if they were that bad, you wouldn't want them

Put it this way, at the horse yard last week a woman pulled up in a Shogun with BFG A/T's. Now imagine a man when he talks to a ladies chest, that was me but with the tyre's.
Definitely on my shopping list, just want to see some Colway A/T's for comparrison.

Excellent :D
Paying £202 total for tyres, fitting, balancing and anything else involved in new tyres. I am pleased with that price as tyres seemed much more at the LRO show so glad I delayed :D
-
BFG's simply the best very good choice.
-
I bought my Discovery secondhand and it still has the tyres it came with, BF Goodrich AT's are on my shopping list as soon as these wear out.
Good choice

Fathers Colway A/T's turned up yesterday and look the same tread pattern as my uncles BFG's.

Good balance for road and dirt. Still get good mpg.
they have done about 45000 miles and they still have loads of tread left.
Although I am getting a secound set of MT for more interesting terrain.
