I was at a rugby match at Twickenham stadium today (London Wasps vs Saracens) and whilst I was waiting outside the seating area there was a Land Rover stand. As it was the only interesting thing at the time i decided to stroll over and take a look at the Disco 3. My Dad's friend was interested in buying a Disco 3 so he decided to ask the man (running it) how much it was. With each question he asked the man, the answer was "I dunno". Until my friend's final question was "what are you doing here?".........you can probably guess the answer!

Nice to see that Ford are carrying on with the tradition of using common components from the parts bin. :wink:
Disco 1 had Maestro bits, so it makes sense to use Ford bits on this one. :lol:
One thing that I have noticed is that it's getting similar in looks to a FORD EXPLORER. I wonder if these two will merge into one vehicle and will be called a Discovery over here and an Explorer in the States. :shock:

I doubt it since the LR3 (as it's sold in the states) is considered quite a prestigious vehicle where as the Explorer isn't.
Granted, it'll be the same vehicle with a different badge on it, but hey ho ;)
