Title: Pics of me having fun with the new Tdi conversion!!!

So last year at Billing I drove the mud run and this is what happened  :evil:

Dam V8s! :evil:

So six months later I put a 300tdi in and now Im in love  :P   Its fast, way more powerful than I expected and its great in water as the pics show.

Dead chuffed I did the conversion now!  :twisted:  :twisted:  :twisted:

Sadly, what Im driving through is the original hole its just that being end of the summer its dry.... very dry. Water was over 4 feet deep last time, now its less then two  :cry:

Back again March so I'll try it then when its full again  :twisted:

well spoke to the diesel guy & tweaked the pump timing manually (not recomended) & its scooshed,pulls like it should & is so much quieter to drive now

Spot on mate, got it in one.  Could not see the pedals and my boots where getting wet!




Mike, glad the tdi is working.  Cracking engine when it runs.  Got my eyes on a bigger intercooler now  :twisted:

Oh and if you look at the 300tdi picture, the mud on the windscreen is on the INSIDE, not the outside as the widscreen wipers were going full pelt!

Now that is mud plugging!!!!!!!!!  :twisted:  :twisted:  :twisted:

should also shut the bulkhead vents aswell  :!:
so when you fitting the wipers on the inside to do away with the need for a heater & demister??

well most <cough>Bowlers<cough> i can think of run that set up & just use the gearbox as a heater

Funny you should say that......

.....I have never fitted a heater to the truck ever!!!  V8 box and auto always been so hot.

Dont think I'll get the same with the tdi though.... :?

Might be cold in winter  :mrgreen:
