No - you can't lift it merely by jacking despite what sort of jack you try. You actually have to modify the suspension...

Yes it is a high lift jack but you CANNOT drive with in place, land rovers can do a lot of things, they can walk on water, rocks etc, but not on a crutch!

Well if you fit slick road tyres to a hybrid of course its going to break down!
