came home from work today to find SWMBO has been on a cleaning blitz.
The house is spotless which is good but shes part washed the 90.
Just had it nicely covered with mud from the weekend and shes washed the passenger side only (she cant reach up on the bonet since had lift) and got to tired to finish the otherside
so I now have a half clean 90
Mind you that will really confuse greenpeace etc.
Is it a dirty off road vechicle or a clean urban 4x4 ?
:-k

My swmbo does that all the time to her disco as she is only 5ft2in, she can't reach the middle or the roof so when i get home i have to finish it :( :!: she can't hold the bonnet up to fill the washer bottle as it's to high

I give the pressure washer to my son. Sit back with a cig and direct him.
Oh, and appologise to soggy passerbys

Have these women never heard of ladders?? :? :?
Or did you not realise you were being duped into washing
the high bits for them??

she managed to do most of the side but as said hasnt touched the bonet but what I find strange is that she hasnt done the wheels. :?:
Shes only 5foot ish and she's on just about the right level to do the wheels and the lights etc up as far as door handles (I'll get such a slap if she reads this  )
what I think shes done is cleaned the side she can get the hose to and left the rest
I was waiting to take it to the garage to use the preasure washer to get the worst off then finish up at home (saves having to clean up as much mud off the street)Now I'm expecting the neighbours to start complaining about all the mud in the street
typical

SWMBO is 6ft where as I am only 5'10" so she is built much better for cleaning the Discovery and she has claimed it as her own (she only takes it to work though, nothing 'exciting').
Any tips on how to persuade her to do it though?
Yours faithfully,
Very Scared Husband!

In response to the alleged comments I washed the bit of the landrover I could see out of my kitchen window. If he expects me to stay at home and keep house, when I'm doing the dishes I want at least to see a clean landy. The reason I have to watch a landy is he takes my vectra to work, not exactly a true mud cluber!!

A verbal slap it is then
people at work wont see the scar's that way
Can see I'll have to turn it around to get the otherside washed

T'other Arf likes that Ladyloony. Though I just wish she'd clean her own car a bit more often instead of leaving it to me. :( I've got the 90, an SJ and a digger to try and keep clean(ish) Having a herd of cattle up and down the lane twice a day doesn't help either. Though the dogs help me. They clean the mud flaps.

Joanne hasn't commented on the state of my Discovery. Yet..
It got a bit splattered at Langley Farm (http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=10789) on Sunday 11th, but it was still cleaner than some leaving the parking areas
