Hi All,
I'd like to reduce the approach angle of my 110, by moving the winch mount back towards the engine, ideally right back so that it sits between the chassis rails - and then I could do away with the galvanised monster bumper, and fit a 'normal' or winch bumper.........
Any ideas how I go about doing this ?
Hopefully there's a pic here

Hi Tim,
It's a Ramsey RPH8000 hydraulic, and whilst you're here - why can't I post the damn piccy, it's in my gallery....?

Please, someone out here must have some ideas... :(
I've spent the weekend (when swmbo was out !!!!) surfing various websites looking for inspiration, but no one seems to list a mount for the Ramsey unit I have. Scorpion do a really nice looking tubular bumper, I suppose I could ring them and ask - but I'd prefer to hear from someone who knows that the winch definitely will fit before I part with the beer tokens !

You could try the 'Technik' winch bumper that 4x4winches supply. Sits on top of chassis rails, so approach angle is very good. Seriously strong construction and good value at only £199 + VAT.
Check it out http://www.4x4winches.com/images/technik.jpg. As it is designed for the Milemarker H12 and Type R, it may be suitable for your Ramsey (although I have no idea really!). Give Allan at 4x4winches a call and ask him if it will fit.
Cheers

That's the sort of thing I'm after - a bit similar to the Scorpion one. It looks like you just cut the grill to fit around........interesting, I'll drop them a line.
