ive ordered a set of injectors from paddocks
and i backed the pump off
is there anything else i can do to ???
the reading was 9.99

Yes, leave it running so its really hot, give it a good stiff run before hand, or try and find a dodger tester............. (which you can't really do, cos there ain't any under the new system - :-k

and change the engine oil if it hasn't been done very recently
-
A large helping of Millers fuel treatment?
-
A bit naughty but you can take the air filter out for the MOT as well, don't do it for long but it can help things along.
Really it depends on if it's black or blue, if it's balck it's Fuel adn the injectors should do it, if it's blue it's oil and things get expencive, in that case hope that an oil change does it.

allways a good idea to service your vehicle before an MOT
if its only used localy a good blast down the motorway is helpfull
and get the engine hot before the MOT
take notice wether they MOT then gas test or gas test then do the rest of the MOT the engine could have cooled down
:?: is it poss to alter the fuel mixture on the pump (not done any work on Land Rover pumps ) just for the test :?:

mm cheers for response lads
i backed the pump off b4 the test
ive just serviced it and and it had a run down to poole and back the night b4 at 70mph on the motorway
i'n hopeing the new injestors will sort it, i did change the cam belt not too long ago aswell, wonder if its a bit out, though it runs fine???
-
got it top pass today,
after i cleaned up the injestor nozles, gently on the wire wheel
then filled a new fuel filter with injector cleaner
then backed off the pump instead of upping the fueling it sailed through
