I think I have menaged to convince SWMBO to change wheels.

Depending on the finances, I am going to try and change the freebie for a 2001 Discovery Adventurer, TD5, manual.

The winning argument was when I mentioned that next summer we would have to tow a trailer down to Spain, due to little to no boot space :D

I'll keep you posted.
