Title: snorkel for a petrol 90
Post by: smith335 on October 06, 2005, 22:21:02: whats the best way to fit a snorkel to a 2.25 petrol 90?

i dont want to cut big a hole in the body, does any one make a kit that fits where the grill is on top of the drivers wing?

If you put it through the hole where the heater grille is, you lose the heater. You might be able to come through the other wing. Its just a longer route.

i dunno where or what the hose came from but it comes of my airbox on the N/S across the front,under the expansion bottle,i made a plate up the same shape as the plastic vent thing & then came out there & made 2 small brackets out 27mm wide ally flat bar ,bolted them to the wing & cable tied the tubing to the brackets & windscreen hinge

any ideas if any one makes a pukka kit, as i am no good at making things.

didnt want to but mantec want Ã‚Â£230 for the kit that fits the wing top vent.
and i can get one from rebel for Ã‚Â£88.
bit of a difference.
any tips on cutting the hole?
