anyone know where i can get defender military door tops complete from??

i know you can get series 3 doortops glazed brand new for not a lot
,got a price for 2 tops & bottoms new for my 90 n it came to about £180

As far as Im aware the military doors are the same as series juts as Mikee says


I got mine from www.paddockspares.com and they were £42.50 +Vat each and if you spend over £50 (+VAT) you get free postage :shock:

I love a bargain  :wink:

And the door bottoms are £37 each so in total its:

£85 for the tops glazed (pair)
£74 Bottoms (pair)
FREE POSTAGE

£186 in total with VAT

Dam cheap that!  :shock:

Oh and I dont work for paddocks by the way  :wink:

sorry its the aluminium tops with both opening windows i'm after.theyre not the same as series door tops.

I'd try John Craddocks for a start, they always sell loads of military stuff.

Isnt there a military LR club??  I'll look into it  :?

Fitted Rocky Mountain door tops to my 90.  Similair to the military ones exept glass is not slopped.  Far better quality and more robust than standard.  Paid £120 for the pair at Billing last year.  Well worth it in my opinion.  Dealers wanting £80 each for second hand military ones. :roll:
