Title: GEARBOX IN BITS
Post by: Miniman on October 12, 2005, 22:50:46: Just thought you would like to see my gearbox problems. 3rd and 4th syncromesh got a tooth missing. Anybody know where to buy a new one cheep. Ã‚Â£37 is the cheepest I have found so far.

When I do a strange drum brake setup, I usually snap a pic or draw a sketch on the spring and clip layout, by the time i get to putting it back together, the brain has a panic attack

(only takes one shim to be wrong and youve blown it) :cry:

:lol: I had a mate come by once when I was overhuling an auto box and said the worm trail castings made him physically ill! He swore that fill and drain plugs were 'portals to the gears' and that no one should ever go there! :lol:
