Title: Ban on Byways
Post by: Matt_H on October 20, 2005, 14:02:26
Just reading a friends copy of Motorcycle News and there is an article about the government u-turn on vehiclular rights to use byways (something published by NERC).  MCN does tend to be a bit sensationalist, however the general gist was
Trail bikes to be banned from byways.. Small print quote from someone official "it will only affect some byways.

Had a quick look on mud-club and see no mention so far of it - anyone got more of a heads up?

it's annoying they used the name nerc as there is another NERC in the non-departmental government body stakes (the Natural Environmental Research Council) - I used to work in the same building as them (for BBSRC - don't ask!)
