Great day on Sunday, sadly had to shoot but seeing as Im moving soon I should have more time to play :twisted:

The new MuddyDuck website will be up in New Year and its looking like it will be a club haven for photos and video. Carlo seems dead keen to make it BIG!!!! :shock:

great to see some off roading in that greater detail, i often have my mirrors set on my rear wheels to see what they are doing when off roading and it is amazing to see where they actually go!!

Post by: barny on October 29, 2005, 09:51:05: Hi, spent most of last night capuring footage, managed to edit two videos (another one of colinn with a really good close up of the prop and hand brake drum spinning round !) but i'm struggling to compress them down to a managable size and maintain qulaity.

My normall setting is very pixelated and blocky, which looks [!Expletive Deleted!]. I've tried 5 diff setting with no success. I'm going to retry using a divx. codec to see if thats any better, but to view the clips you'll have to download the divx player.

I'll report back later when i know whats happening. :(sulk):

Post by: barny on October 30, 2005, 09:12:00: Not having much luck, the divx encoder has disappeared from my pc and going to their site it seems they no longer support win98se any more (prime excuse for a new pc methinks !)

Some success with saving the edited footage in an un compressed manner meaning that ican burn them all to cd - no dvd drive - and distribute at the next club meet ?

Keep you posted anyhow !
