I dropped Owl off for a wallet fleecing today, and to my surprise (haha) they didn't give me a supercharged RR to drive home in.

No.

They gave me some gutless blue box. Pretty color. I like the GPS - pity it thinks my postcode is in Peterborough somewhere   The interior is horrible. Who designed it? Someone with a tacky plastic fetish?

When I turned the key I was greeted with a pretty picture of a book (or is it an open wallet) and some nonsense about the gearbox not being able switch modes. Great. 1500 miles on the clock! Oh and speaking of clocks - where oh where is the one that tells the time?

Press the loud pedal....wait....wait some more and finally move off. Wheeeee we are driving. Oh I need to stop. I wasn't aware I had to radio ahead......unimpressed.

Clatter clatter clatter. Can I have my RR back now please?

Here ends my review of that abortion dubbed "Discovery 3"

I had a courtesy car Monday and Tuesday this week a Peugeot 1007 the one with the sliding doors ugh! Could not see indicator lights and dip/main beam lights on the dashboard and was in danger of chopping my hand off when reaching back for the inaccessilbe seat belt while the door was closing. The chap from Marshall Peugeot said "Not one of our best designed cars"

i think the idea of those 1007s is good
must be easy to get in and out even in a tight parking space

Not Hartwell. We don't go there any more. Never. Ever. Ever. Why do think Piglet has a new engine?

WELL!!!

Call me an old fuddy duddy (most do) but I could buy a half decent landrover, insure, tax and MOT it and have enough change for a tank of Fuel out of that.

AND when I lift the bonnet I would be able to work out what everything does.

For the amount he's paying he probably could've had it airlifted by Chinook there and back . . . . with the Red Arrows as wing men
