Title: MUD plates
Post by: the loon on October 31, 2005, 21:36:11
I'm thinking of getting myself some MUD reg plates as have seen some fairly good plates at sensible prices.
My main issue though is how much will personal plates add on my insurance?

paying about £250 for a years fully comp at the moment but know this will go up when renew as have lift kit fitted
What sort of cost do personel plates put on the insurance?

 :?

Ermm don't know - mine didn't go up as far as I'm aware, renewal was the usual phone around - they were more concerned about the physical mods than the number plate

No extra cost as such, unless it's something that spells a rude word & someone might take offence to it
Alternatively, in relationship to a f**tball club, & a rival 'fan' takes exception & wallops your car with a few bricks.

It might be considered inflammatory????

The other aspect you might wish to enquire about is  what happens to the registration mark in question if the car is stolen/wrecked/declared uneconomicallyviable to repair.

I keep meaning to ask about that myself
