Title: Cones
Post by: drum on November 01, 2005, 21:29:54
Forget the argument on wether to fit cones, or fix your springs in. We've had that one before Several Times  :D

I was going to order some dislocation cones for the 110 (54 Plate TD5 if it makes any difference), however both Paddocks and Famous Four only list them for 90s

Anybody Any recomendations for sources for 110 dislocation cones, as I'm fed up of kicking the springs back into place every sunday night  :D

Prefer Mail Order (Internet), as I'm on silly hours at the moment.

We (Devon 4x4) do them for a 110.

Can probably sort something out re payment as the online store isn't yet ;-)

I was really hoping you wouldn't say that cos the list for D44 already runs at Caster Correction Arms, Rear Trailing Arms, And a Set Of Decent Bushes. I was hoping this was going to be a small intermediate purchase before a hit the old CC hard.

The D44 ones are real good but if not try (sorry tim and simon) speaking to Dave marsh at QT services, he's just passed a new set on to me to replace my naff scorpion ones.

That said I can't find any of the above items list on Devon's web pages. That's not say they're not there just that I can't see them.

Drum,  the products section is being overhauled as we speak.

Chris, no apologies necessary... I use QT bits on my 90 and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.  Always good to have options.

OOoooooo and on-line store.  Thats dangerous for the likes of me.  I have to say the Devon dislocation (sorry Tim.... "re-location" cones) are rather tasty and a dam fine price too!

Not knowning the prices for my shopping list is the only thing stopping me ordering at the moment. Well that and not having the time to pick a phone up all week.

Have you tried Landrover services  LRS
He supplies EQUIPE parts, and the dislocation cones are made of 'billet' Nylon. Self lubricating and a lot quieter than steel cones.
