Title: Where to buy a hi-lift from?

Sooooo where did you get yours from and how much?

Prices seem to vary alot!

Except I have been looking myself for one, and at the end of bidding they are going for very similar money to the shops.

I will watch this thread with interest as I'm going to give in and buy a brand new one (which is probably the best idea anyway).

They came highly recommended by a certain member :wink:

When my high lift went wrong a while ago, abril gave me a new one as Id registered it!

I'll keep looking but its like a ctach 22, find it cheap and its Ã‚Â£30 postage, find free postage and its stupid prices.

Im only bitter as I got mine for Ã‚Â£50 but then again......

......its was about 5 years ago :?

It and the defender adaptor (for steering guard on Disco) were 35 quid and 14 quid respectively - well cheap ! I'm sure they're at www.tufftoys.co.uk or similar, basic in Leics if you're nearby ..

Spot on :wink: I'll only ever use a hi-lift as I feel thats the best bit of kit out there.

Farm jacks / maz jacks etc etc are great and work fine but if your really going to abuse a product and use it in anger then the best is essential in my eyes. Hi-lift all the way please!!! :D

i think it was Ã‚Â£40 plus vat / carriage

www.paddockspares.com but did eventually get it from devon 4x4 as swmbo wanted a black one to match the truck!
