Have you tried "belt dressing" aerosol spray?
-
Is the pump or a belt, pop the belt and have a feel round the pump itself, noist bearing, loose on the spindle etc
-
im gonna go with noisy bearing everything esle seems fine
-
If its the bearing then looks like another pump is needed. they are sealed units and not really able to get into them.
Normally the pumps start leaking though a small hole at the bottom of the bearing shaft when they are going west. have a pull on the pulley to see if/how much free play there is
Also just thining could it be the viscous coupling?
-
defo the pump i put me ear on it wit a screw driver and u could hear it in there not lost any water yet :?
-
Looks like a pump change is on the cards in the near future then

You could always post the write up in the Workshop (http://members.mud-club.com/library/) section of the site, along with any photos you have, and make it available to everyone.
-
just looked and its abit daunting trying to post an article......

Na, It's okay once you get going.
I've got two in there so far, both the suspension ones. :D
It's easy if you've got no photos, just copy & paste!!
