Title: Wheel Arc Mod
Post by: rogerp075 on November 13, 2005, 17:29:28
Does any one know what or how to mod my disco 1 wheel arches

I would like them cut (template?) then some sort of trim put over where it has been cut
If anyone can help me on this one it would be great

The big question is whats your plans?
How big are you thinking of going with tyres?
Have you got a lift?
How high?
 :D

As jake says. How big do you intend to go?

Lifting the body and fitting bigger springs might be a better bet. You can always reverse them.

Are the one's on Ebay anything like mine?
This is with 33x12.5R15 tyres and Scorpion Prospacers fitted.

i have defender arche son my 5 door
yes the rears are a pig to do

i lopped a huge amount off to make plenty of room, i have a template here if anyone wants a copy
you'll need a large sheet of thin plywood or hardboard to draw round mine

pm if you want any advice on how to fit them, only to happy to oblige
