Title: Vitara sump gasket

How eay is it to change the sump gasket on a 1600 Vit? Ours has decided to split and leak,,alot!! Also the starter jams is this common when used off road??

Drop the front axle, lower the sump then remove the allen head and 10mm bolts from the oil pickup then you can remove the sump. Tried it once without removing axle and lifting engine slightly but found it harder. Not sure if the starter fault is down to off-road use  :cry:
