Title: Help with wipers
Post by: Cassillis on November 16, 2005, 11:15:48
Hi All, having a problem with the wipers on my 1996 Defender 90.
Got in to go to work the other night and the wipers would not stop running.
In the off and intermittent position they run continuously.
Normal, two speed and wash operation is working fine.
The only way to get them to stop is to pull the fuse or switch off the ignition.
I have attempted to rectify the problem by

a)   Replacing the switch on the column.
b)   Replaced the park switch on the motor itself.
c)   Thrown my teddy out of the pram when neither of these worked… ](*,)

I have ordered a new motor that will be delivered tomorrow in anticipation of it being an internal fault with the motor itself.
Any one got any other ideas?
