Post by: woody on November 16, 2005, 21:31:31
for those of you who know i am building my own series 1(1/4 size from toylander plans)
I have now made most of the panels and have some glued up
last weekend i went looking for paint after a lot of head scratching i came home with quality dark grey primer (6year weather protection)
i looked at a lot of colours but was unsure which would have been the closest colour match
i am hoping to paint it LR green have seen similar colours in dulux and weathershield has anybodygot a close match for land rover green
have seen british racing green and richmond green
all help will be greatfully recieved

Pity you're so far away, or I'd enlist you

We've got an (essentially) industrial scale woodworking workshop in the  Estates Department at the Hospital, but I can't really ask the guys to cut it out whislt they're at work.
And I'd guess that their manager wuldn't let them use the equipment after hours, even with a 'reasonable donation' to their 'R&R fund'
