Hi all,

readers of the disco forum will have seen that I was toyin with the idea of swapin my old faithful defender300tdi for a shiny disco...  

Well i've gone and done it  , after much thought and badgering of you good people on the pro / cons of 300tdi disco's compared to a TD5 i have sold a kidney and deposited my sole to a chap called nick and found the extra funds...

welcome 'doris' the shiny blue disco TD5 on a 'v' plate, :(shades):  (manual, didn't like the auto)  Purchased from midland 4x4 near overseal nr derbyshire who i have to say gave a blooming good quality of service, =D>   not like a certain 'GUY' i won't mention again  . http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=13576&highlight=

collect her next week so photos to follow then. BIG THANKS to all that gave their advice & guidence, no doubt i will be asking for more when it comes to buying toys for it :twisted:

Don't laugh, I've ground the one off you saw bent in Leicestershire, since then I've bashed the other side in North Yorkshire  :cry:

Have now bought a 2" lift to help  :twisted:

I would have thought ours was a long way for you, I thought you were nearer to Bob696's, but don't let me stop you, it would be great to see you again (especialy if you have your new motor by then!)
