Any one fitted these to a std Discovery, i am told only slight trimming to the bottom of the rear arch is needed.
i intend to put a 2'' lift on at some point but would like to get the right tyres on, dont want to be changing again once the lift is on.
cheers LEE

I have 265 75 16 on mine with a 1" lift :D

Hi Beast, have you got any pics of your machine :?: I'm thinking of sticking some big boots on! and any info on the 1" lift would be nice
oops, sorry, found the pics, look good!

I ran 245/75's BFG Mt's on a 1" lift without too much difficulty, although on full articulation they did catch the rear wheel arch, never got rounf to trimming the little bit of offending arch before I sold it.
The lock stops do need adjusting though to stop the fronts rubbing.

i have got more pics if you want them boilerman
I had to trim the rear of the rear arch too and adjust the lockstops but with the disco steels i have them on theres not much offset so they dont catch the front at all even on articulation when turning but if the offset was larger they would catch requiring more trimming etc

Fit just fine with slight roll of rear arch edge and lock-stops reset.
Niel, well they do on mine....

I'll second that, 245/75 BFG AT's on mine with a 1"/heavy duty lift-ish  and a 'Camel' trim.
Although I did find that normal road driving they rubbed on.... the front bumper end caps

Lee,
From personal experience I would suggest putting the lift kit on first and then get the tyres. You may find you want a different size once the lift is done cos it doesn't look like you thought it would.
You don't want to pay out for new tyres only to spend the next 2-3 years wishing you'd waited.

I was thinking of dropping a set of 265/75s onto the disco, but need to have a good look first I think, with no lift looks like it will be a no go

I've just ordered some 245/75/16's & a 2" lift kit for my Disco. I think it'll be the ideal looking set up. Will post some pic's when done.
