A Bars - I was thinking of ordering one for the Navara (when it arrives)
Are they legal ?
-
Well bullbars are legal. You just have to make sure your insurance knows about them. Mine cost me an extra £10 a year on my insurance.
-
Bull Bars are the Big Wrap Round ones ?
Im After a Nice A Bar to bolt all the Driving lights to.
Has anyone else had any experiences with insurance with " Computer Says No ?"
-
I would be very suprised if they said no, as these were/are avaiable as a land rover provided accessory.
As Bob said, you need to tell them about the addition, and they may increase your policy.
-
mine was fitted as standard :)
-
its just that many years ago, i was sure they were banned and you had to have plastic moulded ones instead of the Steel ones ?
-
The E.U. want to ban them, I believe most new cars have to have plastic/ABS ones fitted.
-
they weren't banned as far as I know, they became type approved, since they were already that in spain (ISTR)
-
ISTR all new vehicles have to have the soft type ones if they are fitted as an option but aftermarket fitments can be steel tube type etc
-
well thats great news, Let Modding Commence !!
