Title: I wanted snow and all I got was a picture
Post by: landyman Ash on November 27, 2005, 21:33:40: I went to the lakes this weekend, was hoping for loads of snow and didnt get anything but rain :evil:

Then I come home and Redline Mike goes and send me this :shock: :shock:

Can I please have some snow so I dont have to go to work tomorrow..........

For the last 4 days the forecast for here has been 'Snow tomorrow' - we had about 6 flakes on Friday & thats all.

3 foot of snow by tomorrow morning please!!

Post by: RandyLandy on November 28, 2005, 08:18:44: weather forecasters are liars they said that Nottingham should expect about 6 inches of snow (bit much i thought as well maybe an inch or so) so been waiting for 2 weeks and all we've had is ice and frost...not a flake of snow :cry:

Our local weather forcaster is a little biased towards snow though as she is called Sara Blizzard, though she is now saying it's about to get a little warmer :cry:

I can see Holme-Moss from one of the attic windows, that's my barometer to forthcoming weather.
