Right another problem just when ya think ya out the woods!!
I started Landy this morning left it running on the drive to warm up
No issues untill i wnet up the road!
The Engine dies to a sputter when you call for fuel??
Its fine on tick over just when ya use accelerator then it slowley dies off to chug and the idles for a while and fine again.
I have checked the following:
Removed Fuel filter to check for crap in it and to see if Fuel is reaching fuel filter and no issues Fuel chucking out the Housing when ya crank her over and no Crap in Fuel Filter.
The Lift pump is working as fuel getting to Fuel filter and you can feel the Manula lift handle pumping when ya put ya finger on it.
I have bled off all injectors etc.
I have removed head of Fuel tank to see if any crap in their nothing clear as bell ..
The only things i can think of is water in fuel line which Froze overnight?
Or the Cut off switch for fuel as that connection aint brill?

When you unscrewed the fuel filter, was it full to the brim?? i.e overspilled when you un-did it.
Did you check the gauze on the end of the fuel pick up pipe?? i.e. the end that's in the tank. Often get bunged up.
200Tdi aren't usually that bad for air in the system as they generally self bleed. Unless you've got a dodgy conection somewhere!!
Definelty got diesel in it??
When you checked the diaphram in the anode on top the injecter pump - did you put it back correctly?? - making sure you didn't pinch it or split it??
If the faults intermittent try sticking some injector cleaner through it, and an additive to get rid of water - it's possible you may have water in the fuel.

i will recheck diafram but its works fine since new one?
i have put redex in tank i will put some of that stuff in yellow tin in fuel filter bloody good stuff i used it when i put the engine in it didnt half shuv the [!Expletive Deleted!] out carnt remeber tha name??

It was part full
The usual sign of a dodgy lift pump!!!
Less pressure is needed to make fuel spray out if a pipe is disconnected, than required to keep the fuel filter full - thus supplying the required amount of fuel to the engine!!
If the lift pump is working correctly the fuel filter should be full to the brim!!!

Have you still got your Td engine lying around???
I might be wrong but it should fit your 200Tdi...
I know a 90 or 110" Td lift pump fits a Defender 200Tdi engine - same part, but I can't remember if a Disco 200Tdi has a different pump.
Otherwise - another £20 to spend!! :cry:
