i got a 4 wheeled engine stand from amchine mart as the 3 wheeled one wont take a V8
-
Way heavier than a Ford Pinto or Kent engine, possibly as heavy as the engine and box from my old Escort.
Don't be fooled by the ali block, there's an awfull lot of it and the internals are still steel. There's an awful lot of them too.

hmmmm may need to beef up the engine stand I made for mitsi v6 engines then :o\ that is when I win the lotto and get a TVR engine to drop in ;)

According to RPI a fully dressed V8 weighs 230KG. So the 350 should cope easily.

me and my mate can lift a v8 with cast manifilds out of his buggy by hand. two blokes can carry a complete v8. about 240 kg sounds correct.
when i swapped to a dihatsu diesel it was about twice as heavy.
