nice to know we are getting consistent weather recently
heavy snow in places
now we get high winds and torrential rain
ooh who would want to live abroad! ;)
-
I wouldn't want to live there (I think :? ) but I like American weather, where you get 4 proper well defined seasons.
If I moved, I suspect I'd head somewhere hot though.

Every country in the world has a climate. Except Britain, it has weather.
-
only advantage with current weather (distinctly damp) is that certain terran terns to a nice sticky gloop.. = fun!
...oh yeah, and truck washes itself!
-
the kiwis have all 4 climates of the world it seems
jammy sods!
-
If you don't like the weather in this country, you know what to do
Just wait 5 minutes, it'll change!

Not knocking it today, I managed to whip out the rad on the hybrid, get a replacement, have it modded for a gauge, back home and fitted, and didn't even get wet

Well... we had some gale force winds first thing. Then some heavy rain for a few hours. Snow on the hills..again. The sun came out for an hour or so. It's drizzling at the moment and it's gone dark...ohh it's night time.
It must be winter

I can't help smiling to myself that the weather in the UK is crap (nothing new there then)
I'm living in Bahrain in the Middle East where the weather is just perfect at this time of the year, daytime high 20's celcius with cloudless blue skies, falling to the low 20's at night, with low humidity (a good summers day in the UK?)
However, it's a different story in the summer months, when it reaches over 45 celcius of blistering heat with stifling humidity - the A/C on my Disco just can't keep up even on full blast!!
As the old saying goes.... if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.... so I did....
-
It must be winter
I have a feeling that it's technically still Autumn
Winter (I think) doesn't start until the 22nd :?:
Hopefully that doesn't mean there is worse weather to come (Unless it's snow \:D/ )

we have proper gales here.....we have lost some of our back roof today. the wind has ripped some of the felt off the flat roof. there is no way i can repair it at the moment. so just hoping it doesnt rip the whole roof off
fingers crossed
-
try putting some slabs on it, or tying it down?
-
its ripped the felt off the exsposed end of the roof so theres no point. when i made the roof a few years ago it was well sealed down. seems the direction of the roof is straight in to the wind at the moment so its whistling straigh in and under it now.
