The other day i noticed that when i put my foot on the brake under normal driving conditions! that first time things were normal but the second time i touched the brakes! the pedel had gone rock solid without hardly any braking effect at all?
Now i can remember something like this years ago from an old car i used to drive? and that had a similer fault! Which i traced back to a vacuam hose! And when i Checked TUFFTEE i found the same thing? A Vacuam Hose had Split and come away from the servo pipe!
So if you have any similer problems check this out First! Could save a bit of Dosh ££££££

Thanks nev, will either:
a) bear it in mind
or
b) be able to find it now using 'search' if I need it.
(Probably b as my memory is like a sieve  )
Mine was unfortunately bot as easy, pedal to the floor, no braking, corner approaching.....
I was on my way to Halfrauds anyway so popped the bonnet spotted a lack of brake fluid, bought some more and topped it up.
It lasted about 3/4 mile...... foot to the floor, no brakes, this time with red traffic lights approaching...... <pause for quick prayer>....... drop a few gears, feather the handbrake - stop with about 3" from the car infront.
Burst brake line = risked heart attack & risked death & much lightening of wallet shortly afterwards.
