Hi All,
I recently obtained a Land Rover LRSS Alarm System upgrade kit for my 200TDi.
It comes with two new key fobs, but no batteries for them. Does anyone know what batteries I should get?
Cheers

Many thanks but are you sure? Looking at the space they go in, square ones would fit. Oval ones would also go in if I used a big enough hammer.
Does anyonehave a more sensible suggestion?
Cheers

If it's a single button remote then it's a CR2016
If it's two button it's CR2032

Yes they are, I have one of thier remotes for my existing alarm. The remotes with the upgade kit are different though. I they apprear to take much smaller batteries. I will find the camera and post some pics.
Thanks all for your suggestions so far!

Thanks Ed, but they dont seem to match any of them. I have uploaded pictures of the new Key Fob to my gallery. Hopefully someone has the same one or knows something about them.

Looks similar to the one in my Clifford remote. A 12v Energizer A23/E23A.
Certainly the right size, a sort of AAA cut in half in length ;)
Not sure exactly, but there is another type to put into the picture :)

Can't see the detail in your pictures, I would suggest you take them down to a local electrical store.
I'm not thinking Comet or dixons though, i mean one who is likely to have a stack of batteries in stock and would have the expertise to offer advice.
OR, ring the supplier of your remote and ask them
