Title: SWB deffender 3/4 tilt hood and hoops will fit a Series

Anyone out there know if a SWB deffender 3/4 tilt hood and hoops will fit a Series rear tub?

As v8kenny says - they won't fit a series 2, and as the series 3's the same length in the rear tub they won't fit a '3' either.

I think the rear sides are about 3 or 4 inches longer on a "90" defender.

The hoops themselves may fit, but the tilt and cross braces will be too long.

I have been after a 90 set of hood sticks for ages. Ended up buying an incomplete set on ebay and bought the remaining bits from a specialist breaker in Iver, Bucks. The hoops are the same but the horizontal sticks are the wrong length.

From what I can see, the hoops are the expensive bits. I bought one of the cross braces for £12.

can't think of his name now but if you want I'll find it for you.

The tilt will be too short, I saved up for a little and bought one from http://[color=blue]www.allwheeltrim.co.uk[/color]. A guy called Kim knows everything you'll need to know and a really nice bloke.

Don't forget that the windscreen fitment is also vastly different between the Series and the 90/110's

Datalas - the windscreen fiiting is a clamp arrangement rather than hooks over 90/110 windscreens for a full tilt but a 3/4 fitting for the t/c rear screen fits
