im keeping me disco now as it did not sell again  :roll:  so time to get the plans out for grinding time  8)  :? and colinthe landy may need ur advice for the scorpion novice challenges  :wink:

my advice would be this plenty good recovery points,good underbelly protection ie axel/steering guards diff guards rock sliders and have loads fun  :D  :D  :D good straps ect winch not nesassary but is better with one and a good co driver :lol: any more gis a shout willing to help anytime

yeah keep disco i got a friend who is in the middle of developing a sort of bobtail conversion at the moment will be ready just after xmas  :lol: cant say to much right now but will keep posted  :lol:

I was talking to Richard from scorpion..his disco should be v intresting when it is finished. Its the camel from the ads but doesnt look anything like that anymore!

Martin,

I did the Scorpion/AWDC Challange series this year and although the Novice is no where near as extreme expect some panel damage.

on the series I did there was major damage to many of the trucks and the punches were not for the faint hearted,  most were set up to squuueeeeeese a 90 through, all the Bobtails etc just flattened the panels on the way trough :lol:

Doing the whole series again this year but Biatching in a trayback Bobtailed 200Tdi Rangie......should be fun

Here's a pic of the Slindon event ,blew the AEU2522 CV to bits winching backwards up what can only be decribed as a small mountain to get to the punch

ooo i have started getting info together for the bobtail bit all mine really needs is bobtailing simiex tyres or near and a decent roll cage and some bucket seats but i have them already waiting for me to get my act together lol
