This is the inside of one of the rear discs on my disco, the only problem I felt was a slight oscillation through the brake pedal.
Also the calipre was shot on that piston, the rubber hanging out, but got a spare for that one. Hoping the other side is in better condition [-o<

I occasionally get that oscillation on mine too

You would normally put it down to a warped disc, like I did, knowing that there were new discs on the front I knew it must be the rears, as a bearing was getting slack I knew I had to rip the thing apart anyway. Got to see what the nearside is like today, after finishing this one off

Common on a Disco to see rear discs like that  You'd expect to see the caliper pistons seized but mind were free

Finished the job today, the other one was not much better, the caliper is usuable but will need another before summer, will see if I can re do the other one that was bad, seals and pistons hopefully, the last time I tried it was beyond repair, this one is in better condition
btw, while up at paddocks they are also doig brake discs from £6.00+vat, Worth having a set in spare, especially with the use a lot of us give the motors
