The disco I just brought looks like it’s got some sort of lift kit on, it’s running 31†tyres and the wheel arches are still there  .
Can’t see any manufacture names on it atm (still covered in tixover dust/mud) but the springs are a blue colour with bright yellow shocks. Anyone got any idea on who might manufacture theses? Before I rip them off
i assume the shocks are bilst/mon.
will post some pics later if they come out well in the dark
Cheers
Ian
p.s can anyone supply me with the std hieght of disco 1 springs back and front?

Bearmach do blue springs, but I also have a feeling that I've seen Britapart doing blue ones (although my Britpart ones are yellow).
I'm not sure about sizes of standard spings (you will find the front and rear are different sizes  ) but I measured from the floor to the top of the arc on the wheel arch and it was 32" +/- a little on the front and back.
That measurement is obviously not quite what you are after, but it's all I can remember

More than likely you have Bearmach springs, they will have a "BA****" part number stamped on them somewhere if they are.
As for the shocks, standard Monroe's are all yellow and have a steel cover over the piston shaft where as Bilst' are more likely to have a blue rubber boot.
They could also be OME shocks, they are yellow. :?
