Title: Rovertune - any opinions?
Post by: thermidorthelobster on December 15, 2005, 14:00:51
I was leafletted earlier by a company called Rovertune, describing themselves as independent specialists covering Surrey, Berks, Oxon etc.

Anybody ever used them?  Any good?

Used them for the first time last week he has all the diagnostics kit I had a fault with the traction control on the defender sorted no probs.  Good size workshop just west of Reading will use them again.  They don’t work on series motors just the newer stuff

They can't be proper mechanics then if they don't work on series motors
I would boycott them for this fact alone

Oh well, in that case I'll give them a miss...  I already have somebody to look after the newer thing, it's the old one I'm thinking of!  Thanks for opinion.

Well, I was thinking of two things:

Firstly I want some long-range fuel tanks added

Secondly I'd like the LPG system & carbs tuned, which really needs an IWEMA specialist

Challenger have done various bits for me but I'm not entirely sure if Paul's that keen on working on the 101!
