Title: new lights for my disco
Post by: denviks on December 16, 2005, 20:27:41: well they have arrived. just taken a pic on the kitchen floor. cant wait to get the disco back now so i can fit them 8) they are crystal angel eye head lights with LED side lights 8)

so what do you think of em?

they cost Ã‚Â£220 :shock: but i cant wait to fit them when i get the beast back...... i will do a write up on them when i get them in.

Was going to invest in some for mine.

Have you seen the rear ones yet? They made the same LED lights for the freelander bumper and pillars. Cant wait to see that style also for a Disco.

When that happens Ill probably be investing in a complete set!

They are not E approved this applies to vehicles built after 1986, technically all lamps must be E approved. You can add a zero to the price if you wanted E approved lamps. Do you have rear clear lenses on your car if yes then they are ILLEGAL.

The dipped beam on these cheap lamps dips straight down so they can be fitted to Left or Right hand drive cars, the headlamp/halo light must be white. An MOT station may pass or fail the lamps. The police should be OK as none of them know the law regarding the E approval numbers.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but better to be warned!! :wink:

BTW they are bright,was surprised at how much more light they put out

sure do mate. thats what attracted me to them. i will be fitting them when i get my disco back. along with the rock bars, hd bumper roof lights. +2" shocks, hd springs, snorkle, larger bump stops, spring retainers and on and on and on.... :lol:
