Started had to drive to work in a blizzard, on way home more snow to drive in so took the hilly scenic route home, and to cap it all, had to turn a Jag round on the hill and drag it up backwards LIFES GOOD.

I don't think most environmentalists tend to drive Jags.
And as I've said before... wanting to protect the environment and driving a 4x4 are not necessarily incompatible. I am concerned about the environment and I know various other people here are too... you could even regard me as a tree hugger.

It's a fair cop! But that doesn't mean I don't see a valid use for 4x4s, or that I think laning should be banned.
In fact, I nearly went to the anti-capitalist demonstrations in London a couple of years back, but I thought it might not go down well when I turned up in the Range Rover

as well as being a sales person and qualified teacher
Ah, that must be the link. I'm starting teacher training in September, having been a sales person for the last 8 years.
(I think that means I have to join a socialist political party too, as part of the teaching contract? 8) )
