Hi, i have been ringing around and have been told that it is not possible to attach a cherry bomb to my series landrover exhaust? Is this 100% true or is there any method of....bodging where the same effect can be achieved. cheers all

Got a v8 series with one on, anything is possible with clamps and a welder

Hmmm yeah, i just gave scorpion racing a ring and the smallest bore i think they have is a 2" diameter. I wasnt sure if that would be too large or not? If so is there anyway to attach it still (without inserting a V8), cheers

just need some reducing pipe slit it down to fit and re clamp it

I took my cherry bomb off, hurt me ears to much.

i have a defender mid box which fell of a mates 90 attacked to my diesel and it sounds the boob,
however, a 2 inch diameter one i would think is good enought, or a 2.5, thats what the defender box is, just takes some welding to make it fit, we cut slits down the pipe and bent it so it closed round the smaller series pipe.
no cherry bomb but bloody awsome, is under the passenger seat and the exhaust comes out just infront of rear wheel,

I've had a 2 1/4" one on a Series IIa for about 10 years - nice and quiet, and goes well.

Cheers, i might give that defender box a go, i happen to have one of those lying around in the garage actually :) What about a range rover classic? Would that have the same effect? Cheers all for the replies

Used to have a cherry bomb sticking out the side, would set car alarms off when passing, replaced it to help preserve what hearing i have left (pardon) with a standard system with peco back box, sounds good and not as noisy in side, can still set car alarms off though.
