AFAIK...

Turbo outlet/exhaust downpipe is 2 1/2" which is 63.5mm (well it is on Defender 200Tdi)

Although different shapes (and set up) I'm sure the Disco pipe does the same as the defender one - which changes size just after the outlet from the turbo - 2 1/2" - 2"

my down pipe was always slipping down so i got some exhaust paste and took off the down pipe and put loads of paste on the manifold end put the down pipe back on and retightened the clamp i run it up to temp on the drive and touch wood it has stayed on  for the last six months.  joe

My 200 does it about every 6 months, get a lovely whistle from it when it starts, good tell tale.

I just slacken off the clamp, get a block of wood and hammer and tap it back up again, retighten, job done.

What type of clamp are you using to hold it on, hopefully not your normal u clamp?

You definately need a heavier clamp then, but your local exhaust factor if they do van exhausts should stock a heavier clamp to do the job

Whilst your under there check the main box isn't swinging freely pulling it off...Major issue with TDi's, same box is braced by two down pipes on a v8 and doesn't cause as many problems. My TDi doesn't have anything except the rear resonator box because of it.
