Good God, utter disaster, 1 cm of snow here. need to fit a snow plough, Someone call the army out I need some ciggys from the corner shop.
We need blankets and food to store, fresh drinking water. Heaters too, its only 4 degrees celcius here.
A couple of flakes landed near the station earlyer this morning so no trains are running, can we get supplies dropped by plane ?
I just heard that hard hit areas of britain have up to 2 centimeters and there is widespread travel disruption, there is also panic as people rush to find their bobble hats and knitted gloves.
I have also just realised...If it thaws by mid-day we have no flood defences, sea levels may rise rivers may burst their banks, I only have a 2 inch lift kit maybe I should sort out a higher one ?
Its a disaster aint it ?

Yep, we've got about half an inch in here in Cambridgeshire so the 110 will be out to play later.

A veritable disaster m8, you have it much worse than us in Southend.
How will we cope?
-
My kids are outside now
They say its up to 2 and a half centimeters at the edges of the garden fence. This clearly constitutes drifting.
Has anyone told the army we have snow drifts here in Clacton !
I cant hear any helicopters or supply planes so I can only assume the weather is too severe for the army to cope with.
What will become of us ?
-
not a thing down hear its ment to i want to go out and play in the 90
-
WE HAVE ABOUT 1 INCH HERE IN PETERBOROUGH OUT TO PLAY LATER IF THE TRUCK WILL START
-
Nearly 1/2cm here in Warks and still falling - nice big flakes - dare I hope it keeps falling?
-
Clacton - Its snowing again.
Currently 1 inch with 1 1/16 inch drifts in the corners of the fence.
No army assistance here yet either. I may have to stop paying my taxes

Snow in Nottingham, very rare sight, must be bad in Lincolnshire, we normally get the tail end of it
Looks like only a sprinkle though, up on the estate it will be like this, but I bet the main roads are clear
I know some people up in Derbyshire will be enjoying themselves today, and I dont mean the walkers either

Still snowing on and off here, Mad nutter of a discovery owner accross the road decided its an ideal time to do an oil, filter, plug and lead change today too !
-
Got the light fluffy stuff falling now, but its warm on the roads, unless it freezes later I dont hold much hope of it being around in the morning
-

Snowing on and off still here.

we had some here this morning but the worst thing was it rained first then froze hard overnight which has made the roads interesting around us  mts aint good on ice either
dustmen due tomorrow so i have moved all our vehicles off the road as it resembles a long ice rink at the minute
-
i second that. just walked my dogs and the roads and pavements are like an ice rink. great... :x
worst bit is there is only a little dusting of snow covering it.
i want deep snow

According to the BBC news Kent looks like it's got the best of it
-
funniest thing this morning on the way to broxhead was my missus telling me to slow down for the junction cos it was icy, i had we were sliding down the road on the ice
