Have been looking forward to this for a couple of weeks now. :D :D :D

I thought they'd said they would never[/b' allow them to be re-broadcast?
Or am I wrong again (as usual??)

I had the impression that they were desperate for them to be broadcast but no-one in the BBC felt that they were suitable. At the time they were very much under the shadow of Monty Python and Not the 1948 show not to mention Spike Milligan as I recall.
I understood that Graeme Garden & Tim Brooke Taylor in particular were quite bitter about the enormous success that John Cleese and others from I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again had achieved. But maybe I too am muddled!

I have far fonder memories of the goodies than any of the others from my childhood. I have a few on dvd ...it is scary how iffy the content of some is. Scoutrageous in particular very dodgy lines in that one. Very funny indeed.
my favourite is the advert for the Salvation Army.
"Its a mans life in the salvation army , navy and airforce."
