Don't beleive everything you read, particularly on LRC.C - they often give the factory a really good laugh!
Chris Hammond (regular on the BORC in the no.17 Bowler) is driving one of the works Bowlers (356 IIRC) and I'd like to wish him the best of luck* cos he isn't short (about 6'5) and doesn't have whitened teeth! And he's just a really nice chap. Excellent Pims, too
To give LRC.C some credit ( ) at least they got the co-driver right, in the form of the highly capable Terry Banyard.
cheers

Anyone see the Eurosport Dakar Challenge (http://www.eurosport.com/home/pages/v4/l0/s239/e11728/sport_lng0_spo239_evt11728_sto793065.shtml) last night or when it was on earlier in December? Seems they run it each year for a driver & co-driver to win a place on the Dakar with vehicle supplied.
If I find a co-driver, loose some weight and get fit..................... :-k

Watch it on line here

Thanks for the link Neil.
It's looking good. Shame about only 30 mins of coverage on Eurosport UK.
I don't reckon the Hummer will last the pace.
VW might give the Mitzis a run for their money.
