Glad the article didnt focus on the vehicles used too much and it seems the journalist/police or indeed the farmer are clear that it is nothing to do with us.I hope they catch them and for once they get an appropriate sentence
Thats what annoys me so much about the national park authorities. They cant get it through their thick skulls that illegal use of lanes wont stop by banning us....it will still only be illegal use of lanes. The people already doing it are breaking the law NOW, so for them what has changed?

would imagine blood stains would appear from hitting the sheep and bodywork damage as they do cause a lot of it if hit at some speed

isle of wight isnt a big place so you will find the culprit eventually

Post by: Stormin on January 01, 2006, 20:13:20: Couple of years back, my neighbours and I where plagued by the sheep of a local farmer, who wouldn't fence his fields properly. Even though the damage they did cost us quite a bit of money, I would never exact revenge in such away. It wasn't the sheeps fault. Those responsible for this are just cretins and if the police do their job properly, they should be caught and jailed.

thats not on there was a bloke who run over a cat 6 times in my home village of Haversham MK banged to rights through CCTV images. got 6 weeks suspended sentance.
laughable.

Unlike this man, incrediable he go off and the RSPCA can't get the cost of the kennel fee's from him.

Post by: simdeb on January 02, 2006, 22:09:36: a few years ago horses near us was being slashed with knives, second half of 2005 about 6 peoplels dogs near us have had their dogs poisened by somebody throwing bread with purple poision on it! :cry: :cry:

i could never hurt anything, it makes me feel sad when one of our cats cathes a mouse or a bird! :cry:

Post by: wibble on January 12, 2006, 10:58:19: words fail me??? there is either a vendeta explaination or some seriously sick and deluded loonies living on the island. as said they can't go far so will get caught eventually as evidenced by the police stating they now have the vehicle, even though it was prob done for reasons of loonacy or revenge the mud sticks to all 4x4's and will be seized upon by all the left wing do gooders who want the vehicles banned...
